DJ Fox Electrical is an East Sussex electrician covering domestic and commercial work across the county. They came to DCS wanting a professional website that could compete in local Google search — not just look good, but actively generate enquiries.

This project was also an opportunity to demonstrate what the DCS platform can do at full capability.

The Challenge

Electrical work is a competitive local market. When a homeowner in Eastbourne searches for an electrician, they'll find a page of results — and the businesses that appear at the top are the ones with well-structured websites, proper local SEO, and a Google Business Profile that's been set up correctly. Without all three working together, even a great electrician is invisible to the majority of potential customers.

DJ Fox Electrical had the skills and the reputation. They needed the online infrastructure to match.

The Solution

I built DJ Fox Electrical a full site on the DCS platform using the Orion theme in red — clean, dark header, strong brand presence, and well-suited to a trade contractor audience. The Orion theme is built to convert: the phone number is prominent, the services are clearly laid out, and every page has a clear call to action.

The content architecture was built to rank. On the service side, I created dedicated pages for each area of the business: domestic electrical work, commercial installations, fuse board upgrades, EV charging point installation, PAT testing, and electrical inspection and testing. Each page explains the service in the kind of detail that both Google and a potential customer want to see.

On the location side, I built pages covering the main towns across DJ Fox's service area — Eastbourne, Hailsham, Polegate, Seaford, Lewes, Bexhill, and surrounding areas. Each page is written for the specific location, targets the relevant local search terms, and links clearly to the services available in that area.

Schema.org markup for a local electrician was applied throughout, the sitemap was submitted to Google Search Console at launch, and I guided the team through optimising the Google Business Profile.

The Results

DJ Fox Electrical launched with a complete, professional online presence — 20+ pages of well-structured content, a distinctive red theme that stands out from the generic trade websites in the market, and all the technical foundations for local SEO in place from day one.

The site is live at djfoxelectrical.com and represents what a properly built trade website looks like: fast, clear, and structured to rank for the searches that matter. It's one of the stronger examples of what the DCS platform produces when it's used to its full potential.
